An announcement from the Tarrant Appraisal Review Board:

The world health community continues to monitor closely the emergence of the “coronavirus” (COVID-19). The numbers of cases in the US and in Texas have continued to increase in recent days. At this time, no one knows how severe this outbreak will be.

Given this uncertainty, and the fact that the seasonal flu virus is also widespread, we are taking proactive steps to address the realistic concerns many may have.

First and foremost, we want to maintain a safe workplace and encourage and/or adopt practices protecting your health as well as members, TAD employees, visitors or others.

As a result, we are postponing the hearings scheduled for March and April to later dates to be determined.  Our hope is that by moving these hearings to a later date, that the spread of the virus may have abated and it will not be the same threat that it is at present.

You will be re-notified as those new dates are determined.
